Fu Lin Chinese Restaraunt Review

Man this place is the only good place to eat ramen noodle soup I know, except that the noodles are too thick and taste like eggs and the soup is not salty enough. Maybe they should add more msg and fix the rickity tables. The pot stickers are really good though. Also the chopsticks are the best because they're not wood, they're the plastic kinds. One time I said no bean sprouts but they still gave me bean sprouts. In fact that happened almost every time I went there, probably cause they are really busy all the time. Great but not the best place to eat Chinese food. Oh, and don't go in their bathroom it smells. PF Changs is the best even though I never went there before. 4 out of 5 stars.

Starcaster by Fender Strat and Amp Set Review

Price Paid: $200

This starter set comes with everything: Stratocaster guitar, 10 watt SP-10 amp, strap, picks, tuner, gig bag, cable, headphones, guitar stand.

Sound:
The amp has a distortion/clean button. It is acually kind of loud but it sounds too high with not enough bass. The guitar has a humbucker pickup and two single coil ones. When it's on distortion I only use the humbucker because if you select something else it ain't sound good. When it's on clean, the neck pickup is good for acoustic sounds. The whammy bar can only lower the pitch.
With this set you can play almost anything, like metal, alternative, jazz, but doesn't sound good compared to better amps. It comes with a headphone you plug into the amp to play silently. 6 out of 10

Looks:
Mine came in shiney black with matching shiney black headstock, the pickguard is white and the pickups and knobs are also white, and a chrome bridge. The amp has chrome edges, black textured covering, and black grille cloth. 9 out of 10

Overall:
It only for beginners. The amp sucks get a new one but keep the guitar. 7 out of 10

Fender FM 212R Combo Amp Review

Price paid: $330

Year made: 2004

This amp is 100 watt with two 12inch speakers. They don't sell these anymore but the Fender Frontman 212R is the same thing.

Sound:

Yeah it's REALLY LOUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't ever need to turn the volume past 2. Its loud enough for gigs. It has buttons on it for clean/distortion, drive/more drive, and mid contour. If you play stuff like AC/DC then use "drive." I play heavy metal and Green Day songs with "more drive" with the "mid contour." There's also reverb. 10 out of 10

The Look:

It looks cool. It got the classic Fender style: black texured covering with chrome edges and white letters. Overall, this amp doesn't look as good as the Frontman version though because the Frontman one has more shiney stuff like the silver grille cloth. 7 out of 10

Overall:

This is amp is huge and it weighs A TON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had to carry it to the basement and my arm hurt. Also, you can use the included foot switch instead of pressing the distortion buttons on the amp. You can store the footswitch and wires in the back of the amp. 10 out of 10
